Helping Kids Thrive with Speech Therapy

Hi, I'm Annie!

I'm a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist with over 5 years of experience helping kids and their families build strong language skills through meaningful activities at home and in their community. I work to incorporate our speech and language goals within your daily routines and activities to make speech fun for the entire family!

Why I love what I do:

I love helping kiddos find their voice at home, in school, and within their communities.

Why I’m passionate about in-home care:

I'm passionate about creating ways to hone kids' skills in their everyday environment, with their people, toys, and routines!

What Does a Speech Therapist Do?

Speech-language pathologists (also known as speech therapists or SLPs) help kids communicate—whether they’re late to talk, hard to understand, or struggling to express themselves. They also support kids with feeding, swallowing, and social interaction. SLPs focus on:

Speech sounds – helping kids say words clearly so others can understand them
Language development – building vocabulary, following directions, and expressing ideas
Social skills – learning how to have conversations, ask questions, advocate for their needs, and take turns
Stuttering – supporting smoother, more confident speech
Feeding and swallowing – helping with picky eating, chewing, swallowing challenges, and texture sensitivities

Speech therapy gives kids the tools to express themselves and connect with the people around them—at home, in school, and in the world.

How my practice is special

one
Natural Integration

I help families seamlessly integrate speech goals into their daily routines, so therapy happens naturally throughout your day rather than as a separate task.

two
Creative Collaboration

Through creative collaboration, we can target any communication skill within any activity your child already loves doing.

three
Family-Centered Care

I prioritize relationship-based approaches, so parents can better understand their child's unique language learning style and support building communication skills at home.
