Beth Abinya – Pediatric Speech Therapist in Bedford, NH
Helping Kids Thrive with Speech Therapy

Hi, I’m Beth!
I’m a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist with 18 years of experience. I wholeheartedly believe in using each child’s strengths to build communication skills and confidence. I have extensive experience supporting children with autism, developmental delays, AAC needs, childhood apraxia of speech, and articulation and language delays, and I also provide bilingual speech and language therapy in English and Spanish. In addition, I have several years of experience as a feeding therapist for children ages 2 and older. I value working closely with families to understand their goals and tailor therapy to meet each child’s unique needs.
Why I love what I do:
I love learning from children, partnering closely with families, and helping children feel confident communicating their needs.
Why I’m passionate about in-home care:
I’ve found that in-home therapy makes it easier to build strong relationships with parents and family members, which are essential to supporting both the child’s and family’s goals.
What does a Speech Therapist Do?
Speech-language pathologists (also known as speech therapists or SLPs) help kids communicate—whether they’re late to talk, hard to understand, or struggling to express themselves. They also support kids with feeding, swallowing, and social interaction.
SLPs focus on:
• Speech sounds – helping kids say words clearly so others can understand them
• Language development – building vocabulary, following directions, and expressing ideas
• Social skills – learning how to have conversations, ask questions, advocate for their needs, and take turns
• Stuttering – supporting smoother, more confident speech
• Feeding and swallowing – helping with picky eating, chewing, swallowing challenges, and texture sensitivities.
Speech therapy gives kids the tools to express themselves and connect with the people around them—at home, in school, and in the world.
