Hi, I’m Marissa!
I’m a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist serving Morris County, NJ. I have over 10 years of experience working with children of all ages in special education schools, early intervention programs, and ABA settings. I specialize in language development, early communication, AAC, autism, and behavior support. I provide therapy in your child’s home, daycare, or school to help them build and generalize skills in their natural environment. Using a child-led, play-based approach, I make learning engaging and fun while helping children grow their communication skills and confidence. I look forward to partnering with your family to support your child’s success.

What does a Speech Therapist Do?
Speech-language pathologists (also known as speech therapists or SLPs) help kids communicate—whether they’re late to talk, hard to understand, or struggling to express themselves. They also support kids with feeding, swallowing, and social interaction.
SLPs focus on:
• Speech sounds – helping kids say words clearly so others can understand them
• Language development – building vocabulary, following directions, and expressing ideas
• Social skills – learning how to have conversations, ask questions, advocate for their needs, and take turns
• Stuttering – supporting smoother, more confident speech
• Feeding and swallowing – helping with picky eating, chewing, swallowing challenges, and texture sensitivities.
