I’m a Speech-Language Pathologist with four years of experience working in school settings. As a mom of two young children, I understand the importance of supporting families while helping children build confidence in their communication skills. When I’m not working, I love spending time outdoors with my family.
Why I love what I do:
I love helping children and teens communicate with confidence, reduce frustration, and build the skills they need to succeed, whether through play with little ones or social communication with adolescents.

I love in-home therapy because children often feel more comfortable in their own environment, making them more engaged and willing to participate.
What does a Speech Therapist Do?
Speech-language pathologists (also known as speech therapists or SLPs) help kids communicate—whether they’re late to talk, hard to understand, or struggling to express themselves. They also support kids with feeding, swallowing, and social interaction. SLPs focus on:
• Speech sounds – helping kids say words clearly so others can understand them
• Language development – building vocabulary, following directions, and expressing ideas
• Social skills – learning how to have conversations, ask questions, advocate for their needs, and take turns
• Stuttering – supporting smoother, more confident speech
• Feeding and swallowing – helping with picky eating, chewing, swallowing challenges, and texture sensitivities.
