Frequently Asked Questions
How quickly can I book an evaluation?
Most families are able to book within days. If you need help finding a time that works, select "Match Me" and our team will find a provider for you.
What actually happens during an evaluation?
Your provider will come to your home and spend time with your child in a relaxed, play-based setting. Afterward, you'll get a clear picture of whether your child would benefit from ongoing care, and what that could look like.
Will the provider push us toward ongoing care?
Our providers are here to give you an honest, clinical picture of your child's development — not to sell you anything. If your child doesn't need care, they'll tell you that. If the provider recommends care, they'll walk you through what's recommended and why.
What if my child does need ongoing care?
In most cases, you can continue with the same provider you met for the evaluation. Ongoing sessions are typically once a week, and are built around in-home play. Your provider will also coach you on ways to support your child's progress between sessions.
