Helping kids find their voice — at home, with care covered by insurance.
When to Consider Speech Therapy
Every child develops at their own pace — but if something feels off, trust your instincts. Our pediatric SLPs are trained to assess and treat a wide range of speech, language, and feeding challenges.
If your child is behind on speech or language milestones, an SLP can help. Therapy supports expressive and receptive language, helping kids understand and use words effectively.
From picky eating to trouble chewing or swallowing, SLPs support safe, enjoyable feeding and address oral motor or sensory difficulties.
Trouble pronouncing sounds, speaking clearly, or being understood? Speech therapy targets articulation and phonological processes to improve clarity and confidence.
For children with motor planning challenges like childhood apraxia of speech, our SLPs use specialized techniques to improve speech coordination and sound production.
Stuttering, lisps, or voice differences can affect confidence. Therapy helps improve fluency and vocal quality for effective communication.

From the first evaluation to ongoing progress, here's what to expect when your child starts speech therapy with Coral Care.
Your SLP will meet your child and assess any concerns. You should be present the whole time to share medical history, milestones, and observations.
Depending on age, your speech-language pathologist may use games to engage your child. Play makes sessions fun while helping the SLP evaluate for delays or other issues.
You're encouraged to be present and ask questions throughout. Parent involvement typically leads to better outcomes.
After the evaluation, your SLP will discuss findings and propose a plan including recommended goals, session frequency, duration, and any additional referrals.
Your Coral Care SLP will work with you to schedule regular at-home sessions. In-home treatments fit seamlessly into your day and work best for both families and providers.
Session activities vary based on your child's age and needs. Younger children may do games, sound exercises, singing, rhyming activities, and storytelling tailored to their goals.
Your SLP will give you exercises to practice at home. Consistency with sessions and at-home practice is key — and you will see improvements in your child's communication skills.
