Starting now? Use code TEFA for $100 off your first evaluation.
Coral Care connects Texas families with licensed speech, occupational, and physical therapists who come to you. Every session happens at home — where your child is most themselves, where skills stick, and where you're part of the work.
No waiting rooms, fluorescent lights, or unfamiliar environments to recover from before therapy even begins. Home means calm from minute one.
Your actual table. Their real clothes. Their favorite corner. When therapy happens in context, there's no gap between "did it in the clinic" and "does it at home."
You watch. You learn. You ask questions. The most powerful therapy happens during the 167 hours a week we're not there — and you'll know exactly what to do.
"The hours I lost driving to PT, only for him to be overstimulated by the gym-like environment. Coral helped us instantly."
Educational therapies are an approved TEFA expense. Here's what that means for your child — and what to expect from each discipline.

TEFA funds cover speech therapy with a licensed, approved SLP. This includes language delays, articulation, social communication, fluency, and feeding — the full scope of what an IEP might specify.

OT is one of the most common services in an IEP — and one of the most impactful uses of TEFA funds. Sensory processing, fine motor skills, self-regulation, and daily living skills, all addressed at home.

For children with motor delays, hypotonia, cerebral palsy, or post-surgical rehab needs, PT qualifies as an approved TEFA educational therapy. In-home PT means no commute, more consistency, and skills practiced where they matter.
TEFA's highest funding tier — up to $30,000 per year — is reserved for children with a qualifying disability and an IEP on file with TEA. Read the complete guide to understanding your tier, what it covers, and how to make the most of your account before July 1.
Tell us about your child. We match you with a licensed therapist — OT, SLP, or PT — based on specialty, location, and insurance. Most families have a match within days.
Sessions start with insurance or self-pay. Use TEFA for $100 off your first evaluation. Same therapist. In your home. Every week.
When funds become available July 1, simply swap your payment method to your Odyssey card. Your therapist doesn't change. Your sessions don't skip a beat.
Families who start therapy now have an established therapist relationship the moment TEFA funds open on July 1. Use the code below for $100 off your child's first evaluation.
No. You don't need an IEP to use TEFA funds or to start therapy with Coral Care. Children without an IEP qualify for TEFA's standard funding tier — $10,474 for private school students or $2,000 for homeschool families. Children with a qualifying IEP qualify for up to $30,000. Either way, your child can start therapy with us today.
Absolutely. Many of the families we work with don't have an IEP when they start — a parent's concern is enough to get going. A Coral Care evaluation establishes your child's baseline and builds a therapy plan. Use TEFA for $100 off your first evaluation.
It depends on your child's specific goals. Speech therapy addresses language, communication, and feeding. Occupational therapy covers sensory processing, fine motor skills, and daily living. Physical therapy focuses on movement, gross motor development, balance, and strength. Many children with IEPs receive more than one. Our care team can help you figure out where to start — or you can read our complete guide for special needs families to understand what your TEFA funds can cover.
The 2026-27 window closed March 31. If you applied, award notifications go out in April. If you missed this cycle, the next window opens in early 2027. Either way, your child can start therapy with Coral Care right now using insurance or self-pay — and you'll be an established family when the next cycle opens.
Starting July 1, swap your payment method to your Odyssey card and Coral Care will be paid directly from your TEFA account. Your therapist doesn't change — only the payment method does. Families who sign up now get early guidance from our care team before July.
Coral Care accepts TEFA alongside private insurance and self-pay. Many families blend sources throughout the year. Your Coral Care care coordinator will help you map out a payment plan so therapy never has to stop.
